Happy Holidays!

It's been quite the year and I'm a bit behind on blogging (much like other things in my life).  Some of the things to update on:

Got an Audi A3 with DSG.  I'll be posting comments about my experience soon.

Still have the M3 although I'll be selling that soon.

I've been promoted at work.  As of January 1st I'll be the Manager, Technical Operations.  More about that later too.

I started hacking into the dash wiring on the Cobra.  Got sidetracked (again) and I hope to get back to that soon.  Once I get the dash done it'll be a LOT closer to getting it on the road.

The whole family's been dealing with illness in one form or another for the last month+.  The kids are walking germ factories and Angie and I are old and have a hard time adjusting.  :)

I'm going to try to get to a working CallManager 5 installation running in VMWare at home.  It won't be easy because I have to do all kinds of gymnastics to get it to work.  And I think if I mess something up at any point along the way I'll have to start over.  Being able to save images from VMWare helps with that but it doesn't solve the problem completely.

Anyway, I just wanted to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanza, or whatever your inclination is.  Or, just Happy Holidays if you have no inclination.  Although most might wrap this time of the year around a religious event, the most important thing to remember is family and personal peace.  It can be a crazy time but having a good family to surround you and envelope you with warmth makes all the difference.

Happy Holidays everyone!
